PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILST DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE MAIN SHOWGROUND AND HORSE FIELDS PROVIDED THEY ARE KEPT ON A SHORT LEAD, THEY ARE STRICTLY BANNED FROM THE LIVESTOCK FIELD AND THE MEMBERS PAVILION AND GRANDSTAND SEATING.

Following the appointment of Viscount Boyne DL as President of the Society earlier this year, supported by Gordon Morgan in the role of Vice-President, the Organising Committee have been hard at work arranging a wide variety of exhibits and entertainment for all our supporters to enjoy. This year sees the return of the Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team – The White Helmets – and Bob Hogg with his sheepdog display as our main ring afternoon entertainment.

Each year we endeavour to introduce some new features to the Show to maintain the interest of our visitors and this year will see displays of poultry, vintage landrovers and bee-keeping.

We also have a Royal Logistic Corps musical ensemble to entertain you throughout the day.

Main ring entertainment

8.15 onwards – Heavy horses, horses and ponies

12 noon – affiliated show jumping

1.15 – Bob Hogg Sheep dog display

1.45  – The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team ‘The White Helmets’

2.15 – 3.00 – parade of vintage tractors, decorated heavy horses, mounted fancy dress.

3.15 – Grand Parade of Livestock and Horses

4.00 – Presentation of Long Service Awards

4.10 – Grand parade of carriages

4.30 – Parade of Foxhounds

4.50 – The White Helmets Motorcycle display team

5.20 – Bob Hogg Sheepdogs, ducks and geese.

5.50 – Inter-hunt relay competition

6.50 – Young Farmers fun entertainment
